Journey at Pechanga is home to Pechanga Resort & Casino’s premiere championship golf course.  Devoted to marketing this fabulous course to their many Asian golfers, Pechanga proudly sponsored KoreAM 2014 Pro-AM on April 6-7, 2014. Nineteen talented PGA golfers were invited to participate in this exciting tournament with Pro-AM’s tee sponsors.

Prior to the tournament, a Pairings party was held at Eagle’s Nest on the evening of April 6. The Eagle’s Nest Lounge offers the most spectacular view of Southern California Wine Country available, coupled with live music and a relaxing atmosphere away from the gaming floor. Pro golfers were also able to enjoy the gourmet hors d’oeuvres, open bar access, special Hawaiian dance performances and a one-night stay at this luxury resort.

The highly anticipated KoreAM 2014 Pro-AM consisted the superstars of golf and the ladies of the LPGA, such as Birdie Kim, Vicki Hurst, Charlie Wi, Jennifer Song, Chella Choi, Ilee lee, Jenny Shin, Irene Cho, Jee Young Lee, M.J. Hur, Jeong Jang, Mi Hyang Lee, Rebecca Lee-Bentham, Tiffany Joh, Mindy Kim, Hee Won Han, Christine Song, Jenny Suh and Angela Park. This elite group of 19 pro golfers challenged the golf course together with their fans or partners.

As result of the tournament, $5,000.00 was donated by the winning pro golfer going to the LPGA Foundation which supports and empowers young girls and women through the game of golf.

Fans were able to get close and personal with the LPGA elites, they were also able to swing their clubs along side with these talented female athletes, which made this signature event truly remarkable and memorable.
